Survey of global best practices in the reward of university teaching
What are the aims of the survey?

This survey is designed to capture perspectives on well-regarded and influential practices in the reward of university teaching from across the world. The study is led by Dr Ruth Graham and has been commissioned as part of the wider Advancing Teaching initiative which is focused on improving the reward of university teaching worldwide.

What data is collected and how is it used?

In this survey, you will be asked questions about innovations in the evaluation, support and reward of university teaching. The first question involves disclosing the name of your university/institution.

Additionally, there is an optional question where you may choose to provide your email address if you would like to participate in a follow-up interview. If you provide your email address, this information will be held separately from your responses to other questions in the survey and will be used exclusively to contact you for a potential follow-up interview. In compliance with GDPR guidelines, your email address will be retained only until November 2024, after which it will be securely destroyed.

How will confidentiality be protected?

The data (i.e. your responses to the questions in the survey) will be stored securely and will only be accessible to the research lead, Dr Ruth Graham. Your responses will not be attributed to you or your institution in the reporting of the study findings. All data will be securely destroyed at the end of the study (November 2024).

Who can I contact for further information?
